A common mistake I hear students making is the use of the words 'CAN BE' to express 'pode ser' (Português).
For example, someone asks you....'Can we meet on Friday?'
To which you respond...'Can Be...'...
OK, everyone...time to FORGET 'can be' this isn't common in English.
Rather than use 'Can be' try saying the following:
Sure! (or for sure!)
Of course!
That sounds great/fine!
That will work for me! (or that will work!)
Sure, Confirmed...
Forget 'CAN BE' right now ok? It doesn't work in English.
